About KPS Co LLC
KPS Co LLC was built on more than construction—it was built on faith, family, and doing things the right way.
Owner Steve Stegman didn’t start out in construction full-time. He spent 12 years as a math teacher, pouring into students during the school year while building homes and taking on projects in the summers and on the side. Over time, what started as a skill became a calling.
Ten years ago, Steve and his family made the move to the beautiful coast of North Carolina, where KPS Co LLC continues to serve homeowners with the same values it was founded on.
The name KPS is deeply personal—it comes from his daughters, Keira and Peyton Stegman—a daily reminder that everything he builds reflects the legacy he’s creating for his family.
Steve is known for being a man of faith, integrity, and craftsmanship. Around here, there’s a running joke from his wife that he “overbuilds”… and honestly, it’s true. Steve doesn’t believe in shortcuts, quick flips, or cutting corners to save time or money. He believes in building homes that last—solid, safe, and done right the first time.
Because at the end of the day, this isn’t just construction.
It’s your home—and that deserves his very best.
